General Company Policy

These policies apply to every TECH24 team member, whether you work from our Lewisville office, remotely, or as a contractor. They exist to keep our team safe, fair, and aligned as we grow.

Equal Employment Opportunity

  • TECH24 hires, promotes, and compensates based on merit, skill, and performance, full stop.
  • We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, or veteran status.
  • Hiring panels include more than one interviewer for every role above entry level.

Code of Conduct

  • Honesty in client work: campaign numbers, timelines, and reporting are never inflated or misrepresented.
  • Respectful communication on every call, in every channel, with clients, vendors, and teammates alike.
  • Reliability: deadlines and scheduled calls are treated as commitments, not suggestions.
  • Company resources, tools, and ad accounts are used for TECH24 work only, not personal or side projects.

Confidentiality & Data Handling

  • Client campaign data, ad account access, and business details are confidential and never shared outside authorized channels.
  • Login credentials are stored only in the company password manager, never in chat messages or personal notes.
  • System and account access is revoked within 24 hours of an employee's last day.

Conflict of Interest

  • Any outside freelance work, side business, or financial interest that could conflict with a TECH24 client must be disclosed to your manager before you take it on.
  • Employees may not directly solicit TECH24 clients for personal or third-party work.

Disciplinary Process

  • Standard process: verbal warning, written warning, a formal performance improvement plan, then separation if the issue isn't resolved.
  • Serious misconduct, harassment, data breaches, or fraud, can result in immediate termination without going through the standard steps.

Remote Employee Policy

TECH24 operates as a remote-first team spread across time zones. This policy sets clear expectations so remote work stays productive and fair for everyone.

Eligibility & Setup

  • Most roles are remote-eligible after a 30-day onboarding period spent ramping up with your team.
  • Some client-facing or leadership roles may require occasional travel or in-person availability; this is called out at the offer stage, never sprung on you later.

Core Hours & Availability

  • A shared 4-hour core overlap window (10 AM–2 PM Central Time) is kept free for standups, client calls, and urgent issues.
  • Outside core hours, you set your own schedule around your output and deadlines.
  • Planned time away from your desk during work hours just needs a heads-up in your team channel.

Equipment & Tools

  • TECH24 provides a laptop (or equivalent stipend), and access to every tool your role needs: Go High Level, GA4, ad platform seats, Slack, and Notion.
  • A one-time home office setup allowance is included in your benefits (see the Benefits tab).
  • Reliable, private internet and a workspace suitable for confidential client calls are required.

Communication Expectations

  • A daily async check-in in Slack: what you're working on, what's blocked.
  • Cameras on for internal team meetings and client calls.
  • Messages get a response within 4 business hours on a working day, faster for anything flagged urgent.

Security for Remote Work

  • Company devices run full-disk encryption and a company-managed password manager.
  • VPN is required whenever you're on public or shared Wi-Fi.
  • Client credentials are never downloaded, screenshotted, or stored locally outside approved tools.

How Performance Is Measured

  • Remote work is judged on output and deadlines met, not hours logged or activity trackers.
  • Managers review deliverables and results weekly in 1:1s, not screen time.

Benefits & Compensation

We back our team the same way we back our clients: with real investment, not perks that just look good on paper.

Health & Financial

  • Group health insurance contribution for full-time employees, covering medical and basic dental, eligible after 60 days.
  • Quarterly performance bonus pool tied to client retention and campaign results, shared with the team that delivered the work.
  • $1,000 referral bonus for a successful client referral that converts to a signed contract.

Time Off

  • 20 days of paid time off per year, plus your local public holidays, PTO accrual increases with tenure.
  • 12 weeks paid parental leave for the primary caregiver, 4 weeks for the secondary caregiver, regardless of gender.

Growth & Wellness

  • $1,000 annual learning budget for certifications (Google Ads, HubSpot, GHL, and similar), courses, and conferences.
  • $50/month wellness stipend toward a gym membership, therapy, or a wellness app of your choice.
  • $500 one-time home office setup budget, plus a device refresh every 3 years.

Employee Protection

Every person on this team deserves to feel safe, heard, and treated fairly. These protections aren't optional, they're how we operate.

Anti-Discrimination & Anti-Harassment

  • Zero tolerance for harassment, bullying, or discriminatory behavior, whether in person, on a call, or in writing.
  • Every report is investigated within 5 business days by someone outside the reporting employee's direct chain of command.

Reporting & Grievances

  • Multiple reporting channels are available, including an anonymous option, so no one is forced to report directly to the person involved.
  • Formal grievances receive a written response within 10 business days, with a clear appeals path if you disagree with the outcome.

Whistleblower & Non-Retaliation

  • Employees who report policy violations, safety concerns, or unethical client requests in good faith are protected from retaliation, demotion, or termination.
  • Retaliation against a good-faith report is treated as serious misconduct on its own.

Safety & Data Privacy

  • Applies to physical safety (office standards) and digital safety, no one is required to use a personal account or device for company work without their consent.
  • Employee personal data is stored securely and accessed only by HR and direct managers for legitimate business purposes.

Mental Health Support

  • Confidential counseling access is included in the monthly wellness stipend.
  • Managers are trained to recognize burnout and workload strain, and to act on it before it becomes a crisis.

Work-Life Balance Policy

Growth marketing moves fast, but burnout isn't a badge of honor here. These policies protect the boundary between work and everything else.

Flexibility & Boundaries

  • Outside core overlap hours and scheduled client meetings, you choose your own working hours.
  • Right to disconnect: no expectation to answer Slack or email outside working hours, except for a pre-agreed on-call rotation.
  • No-meeting Wednesdays are kept clear across the whole company for uninterrupted, focused work.

Rest Is Required, Not Optional

  • Employees are required to take at least 10 of their 20 annual PTO days, taking zero time off is treated as a manager problem to fix, not a badge of dedication.
  • 2 additional "no questions asked" wellness days per year, separate from standard PTO.

Workload & Overtime

  • Managers review team capacity monthly and are responsible for reassigning work before someone is overloaded, not after.
  • Any work beyond standard hours needed to hit a client deadline is compensated with equivalent time off within 30 days.
